How to Get the Best Out of Runova
Runova is built around one idea: plan the session, log the work, and do it with people who'll notice if you don't. Everything in the app supports that loop. Here's a quick tour of every feature, so you can put all of it to work from day one.
Start with your plan
Open My Plan and you'll find your current training block broken into weeks, each one showing what's scheduled, how far you've run so far, and what's still ahead. Every workout lists the type, the distance or duration, and the day it's due. Use the week picker to look ahead or review a week you've already finished.
If you don't have a plan yet, or you're ready for the next one, use Request Another Plan and your coach will build the next block around where you are.
Log the work on your Feed
Once a workout is done, head to Feed and post it. Write a short note about how it went, attach a photo if you've got one, and tag the plan you're following with a hashtag, something like #halfmarathon, so it's easy to find later. Marked something complete by mistake, or need to log it again? You can undo a completion or unskip a workout at any time, nothing is locked in permanently.
Your Feed also shows what your crew is posting. Read their notes, react to a session with a fire, and keep each other honest.
Watch your streak
Every completed workout adds to your streak, the running count of consecutive days you've shown up. The Streaks panel on your Feed ranks you against everyone else training with you, so you always know where you stand. It's the simplest way Runova keeps training a habit instead of a to-do list: consistency is the whole game, and the streak is how you track it.
Find events
The Events tab lists upcoming runs and sessions, long runs, tempo sessions, community meetups, with the date, time, and location up front. Open any event for full details and register in a couple of taps. It's the fastest way to turn solo training into a session with other people.
Read the Blog
Coaches publish guides on the Blog covering pacing, recovery, fueling, race prep, and more, this article included. Some articles are linked directly to specific workouts in your plan, so when a session calls for something like a tempo run, you may find a relevant guide attached right there for extra context before you head out.
Build your Profile
Your profile is your public presence on Runova: your streak, your activity, and a place your crew can check in on your progress. Share your username so training partners can find you and follow along.
Where to start today
If you're new, the order that works best is: check My Plan for today's session, get it done, post it to your Feed, and watch your streak move. Do that a few days in a row and the rest of Runova, events, community, the blog, starts filling in around it naturally.
That's the whole app. Plan the session. Log the work. Do hard things.
